Easy to List Your Place

You don't need to be the location owner to list a place! Anyone with rez permissions can set up ThundrGO:

To prevent duplicate listings, the system allows only one ThundrGO per parcel, and one ThundrGO per owner per region.

Dispenser Placement Guide

For the best experience, follow these placement guidelines:

  • Place the dispenser in a visible location where visitors can easily see
  • Only one active ThundrGO is allowed per parcel
  • Each owner can only have one active ThundrGO per region
  • For multi-level venues (like a club with skybox):
    • To switch which level to promote, disable ThundrGO in the current dispenser's menu
    • Then enable a different ThundrGO dispenser at the new location you want to promote

Privacy: We Keep It Simple

How It Works

Our system only counts the total number of people at a place - like looking at the mini-map in SL. We don't collect names or any personal details. Importantly, we exclude avatars that are self-identified as scripted-agents (bots) from the total people count, ensuring our numbers reflect actual human visitors.

What ThundrGO Does:
  • ✓ Counts how many people are at a place
  • ✓ Updates this count regularly
  • ✓ Shows only public info about locations
What ThundrGO NEVER Does:
  • ✗ Track who is at a location
  • ✗ Record what people are doing
  • ✗ Store any personal information

General Information

How to list my location?
Anyone with rez permissions is able to set up a ThundrGO dispenser at their location. Rez it, click it, choose ThundrGO and Start. You're set to go!
Is ThundrGO free to use?
Yes, completely free for everyone.
How do I visit a location I find?
Just click on any listing in ThundrGO and you'll teleport directly to that location. It's that simple!
What are the requirements for my parcel to be listed?
By default, we list parcels that are:
- At least 4080 sq meters in size
- Have at least one human resident in the region
- Are publicly accessible

Users can adjust these filters to see smaller or empty parcels if they wish.

Content Guidelines

Can I promote my business?
Yes! Clubs, shops, venues, and other businesses are welcome as long as they comply with our content guidelines.
What places are not allowed?
Our content safety system automatically filters out places with:
  • Sexual services or adult content (sex clubs, strip clubs, brothels, escorts, etc.)
  • Inappropriate terminology (NSFW, XXX, erotic, porn, etc.)
  • Financial domination content (findom, paypig, etc.)
  • Terms suggesting discrimination or offensive content
  • Land-only rental listings with L$/hour, L$/week pricing formats
  • Any content violating Second Life's terms of service

How do I remove my place from listings?
There are two easy ways to remove your place from ThundrGO listings:
1. Simply disable ThundrGO from the dispenser menu
2. Unrez (delete) the ThundrGO dispenser from your location

Once removed, your location will stop being listed within 15 minutes.
Can I have more than one ThundrGO per region?
Each owner can only have one active ThundrGO per region to prevent duplicate listings. However, if you need multiple dispensers in a region for legitimate purposes (such as different businesses or venues), you can use another avatar to place additional ThundrGO dispensers. This allows multiple distinct locations within the same region to be properly listed.
Can I use the dispensers without ThundrGO?
Yes! If you just want to use the physical dispensers (phone or neon logo) for aesthetic purposes without the ThundrGO functionality, you can delete the ThundrGO script from the menu. This allows you to use the dispensers purely as decorative items without listing your location.
